About Us
We started Nichter Photography in 2008, working together as photographers, naturalists, and interpretive guides primarily in west central Florida. Our work has been shown in galleries, and used to create permanent nature exhibits and logos. We sell archival quality prints in selected retail outlets, our photography and articles have been published locally, nationally, and internationally. Our photography and nature hikes have been the subject of several newspaper feature articles in west central Florida through the years. Our stock photography has used for a variety of products.
January 2025 we were featured on Florida on a Tankful on Spectrum TV at Paynes Prairie State Park. From May 10, 2025 to July 27, 2025 our photo exhibition: "Twenty Years of Photography at Brooker Creek Preserve: Karl and Kathleen Nichter" exhibited at the Art Gallery at Brooker Creek Preserve.
Occasionally we take on commission work but primarily we free-lance.
